Cairanne is one of the nearby southern Rhone villages that's often overlooked but has great value wines.

A Domaine du Pey-Neuf rosé, from the renowned Bandol appellation.
WINE TASTING IN GIGONDAS
Gigondas is one of the best appellations in the southern Rhône, and there are many caveaux in the village centre where you can taste the wine.

CHATEAU LA CANORGUE
The distinctive blue bottle of Château La Canorgue, an estate near Bonnieux. This is one of the best wines from the Côtes du Luberon.
CHILLED WHITE WINE
A 2004 Bouquets des Garrigues, a white Côtes du Rhône made by Le Clos du Caillou from classic white Rhône varietals. Look for their red Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Papes as well.
CLOS DES PATRIS
A local Caromb wine, this Côtes du Ventoux, made from organically-grown grapes, is very affordable. It's available in the village or from the vineyard.
LE JARDIN DU QUAI
A novel cooler on the shaded terrace at Le Jardin du Quai in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, where rosé is the wine of choice.
